Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and treating acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses independently or in collaboration with physicians (depending on credentials)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New York
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or a willingness to obtain within 90 days)
