Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

An outpatient behavioral health clinic in Copiague, NY is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric care for a predominantly Spanish-speaking patient population. This role focuses on medication management, follow-up visits, and collaborative patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: 3 to 4 days per week, Monday through Friday
• Hours: Approximately 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient behavioral health clinic

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric medication management for outpatient behavioral health patients
• Conduct initial psychiatric assessments and evaluations as needed
• Perform follow-up visits and ongoing patient care
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and clinical staff
• Participate in treatment planning, care coordination, and accurate EMR documentation

Qualifications:

• Active New York Nurse Practitioner license
• Experience in outpatient behavioral health or psychiatric care
• Fluent Spanish communication skills
