Bar Cham's distinct identity—artfully blending local Korean botanicals, traditional spirits, and contemporary mixology techniques—will come to life in our sanctuary in NYC. Genesis House is seeking an experienced, visionary Assistant General Manager to oversee floor operations, beverage integration, and elevated guest service. Working alongside the executive team, you will play a pivotal role in operationalizing the new service direction and leading the front-of-house team through the Bar Cham collaboration and beyond.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily front-of-house dining room and bar operations, ensuring flawless execution of service standards and hospitality excellence.Lead, train, and mentor floor staff, bartenders, sommeliers, and support teams to cultivate a high-performance culture and strong beverage knowledge.Collaborate with the management team and Bar Cham partners to maintain inventory accuracy, beverage cost control, and seamless service workflows.Manage floor logistics, guest relations, reservation flows, and high-profile VIP guest experiences.Monitor operational budgets, labor costs, POS reporting, and scheduling to maintain profitability while upholding fine dining standards.Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations (DOH, SLA).Requirements3+ years of progressive management experience in high-volume dining or fine dining in NYC.Strong knowledge of food (especially Korean) and beverage programs, wine service, and craft spirits (exposure to Korean traditional spirits or Asian spirits is a strong plus).Proven track record in staff development, scheduling, labor optimization, and guest recovery.Proficiency in hospitality software (Resy, Toast POS, Excel, Inventory Management Tools, and etc.).Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.Must have NYC Food Protection Certificate and valid authorization to work in the US.How to ApplyPlease apply to Culinaryagents directly or email:View email address on click.appcast.io:Your desired role and full name in the subject lineYour attached resumeWe look forward to meeting candidates who share our passion for thoughtful hospitality and excellence in service.Equal Employer Opportunity Statement We provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
