Inside Sales Representative – Hybrid Opportunity | Southfield, MI

$80,000 - $90,000 annually

Reliance One is seeking a motivated, results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join a fast-paced sales team in Southfield, Michigan.

This is a phone-focused, high-volume sales role for someone who is confident speaking with decision-makers, comfortable making consistent outbound calls, and motivated by achieving and exceeding sales goals.

Automotive experience is strongly preferred , particularly experience working with auto dealerships, automotive finance, or dealership decision-makers. Candidates with dealership sales, mortgage, lending, insurance, or other high-volume inside sales experience are also encouraged to apply.

Position Details:

• Location: Southfield, MI

• Hybrid work model

• No travel required

• Established lead pool provided with occasional cold calling and special projects

• Approximately 80+ leads per month

• Average sales volume: Approximately 57 sales per month

• Typical sales cycle: 7–60 days

• Fast-paced, competitive, and results-driven environment

What You'll Do:

• Make High-Volume Outbound Calls: Contact General Managers, Controllers, and other key decision-makers at automotive dealerships through consistent daily outbound calling

• Generate Sales: Work an established lead pool, build relationships, follow up consistently, overcome objections, and close new business

• Build Customer Relationships: Quickly establish rapport, understand customer needs, and confidently present solutions

• Manage the Sales Process: Conduct needs analyses, provide cost comparisons, answer questions, and guide prospects from initial contact through close

• Cross-Sell & Upsell: Identify additional opportunities with existing customers to increase sales and support company growth

• Communicate Effectively: Maintain professional and engaging communication by phone, email, and other written channels

• Maintain Accurate Records: Use Salesforce to document calls, manage leads, track follow-ups, and maintain an organized sales pipeline

• Collaborate with Internal Teams: Partner with internal departments to ensure a smooth customer experience after the sale

What You Bring:

• Automotive Experience Preferred: Experience in automotive sales, dealership operations, automotive finance, or working directly with dealerships is strongly preferred

• Relevant Sales Experience: Dealership, mortgage, lending, insurance, or other high-volume inside/outbound sales experience is a plus

• High-Volume Calling Experience: Proven experience making frequent outbound calls and consistently following up with prospects

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to confidently engage with business owners, managers, and other decision-makers

• Strong Typing & Computer Skills: Ability to efficiently navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers

• Sales-Minded: Comfortable identifying needs, overcoming objections, asking for the business, and closing sales

• Resilient & Self-Motivated: Able to handle rejection and remain motivated in a competitive, performance-driven environment

• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and priorities while maintaining accurate records

• Team Player: Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team

• Bachelor's degree preferred
