Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and diagnostic interviews.

Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices.

Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.

2+ years' experience in an emergency department setting preferred.

May provide support services to the PHP and IOP programs.

May provide services on the Behavioral Health Unit.

EMR: EPIC.

Educate patients about their mental health conditions and treatment plans.

Collaborate with the psychiatrist and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.

Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner.

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

30 clinical hours

Work Shift: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
