Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) at an urban emergency department. This position involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. The RN is responsible for rapid assessment, triage, intervention, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat patients with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license); current BLS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; minimum 3 years of experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings
• Preferred Qualifications: Triage nursing certifications such as Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within the timeframe after hire; prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Additional Information: The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, operate medical equipment including cardiac monitors and ventilators, and participate in emergency protocols such as rapid response and code blue. Physical tasks include standing, walking, lifting, and working in a high-stress environment alongside a diverse healthcare team serving the community.
