Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a patient service center in Paducah, Kentucky, working Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm. The role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, entering patient data, and providing customer service in a diagnostic laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or more phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Reliable transportation available
