We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Electrician with experience in Tenant Improvement (TI) projects. This position involves performing electrical installations, modifications, upgrades, and troubleshooting in occupied and unoccupied commercial spaces including offices, retail stores, restaurants, warehouses, and other commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems during tenant improvement projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
• Install conduit systems including EMT, rigid, and PVC
• Pull wire and cable for lighting, power, controls, and low-voltage systems
• Install and terminate panels, breakers, disconnects, transformers, lighting fixtures, switches, and receptacles
• Perform rough-in and finish electrical work according to NEC and local codes
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete corrective repairs
• Work safely in occupied commercial environments while minimizing disruption to tenants and businesses
• Coordinate with project managers, foremen, inspectors, and other trades on-site
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety procedures
• Accurately document completed work and report project progress

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
• Previous Tenant Improvement (TI) experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read and understand electrical plans and specifications
• Knowledge of NEC codes and commercial construction standards
• Experience bending and installing conduit
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights
• Comfortable working in active commercial construction environments
