Job Introduction
Serves as a strategic advisor and subject-matter expert to People and business leaders on compensation-related matters. This role is responsible for providing advanced compensation consultation, managing complex compensation scenarios, and supporting the design and execution of company-wide compensation programs.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Partners with People Business Partners and business leaders to deliver strategic compensation guidance for offers, promotions, reorganizations, and retention planning.
Leads complex job evaluations and market pricing activities using industry surveys and internal benchmarking to maintain competitive and equitable pay practices.
Supports and influences the design and execution of global compensation programs including merit, bonus, and equity cycles.
Provides data-driven insights to senior leadership and contributes to compensation planning and forecasting efforts.
Helps evolve job architecture, salary structures, and leveling frameworks to support organizational growth and scale.
Advises on compensation governance, compliance, and pay equity issues in partnership with Legal and People Operations.
Contributes to compensation communication strategies, manager training, and enablement tools.
Basic Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or HR business partnering with a compensation focus
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
Deep knowledge of compensation tools, market surveys (e.g., Radford, Mercer), and HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday)
Strong business acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
Familiarity with compensation regulations (FLSA, Pay Equity, Transparency Laws)
