Our differentiated battle management and cyber solutions deliver timely, mission-enabling information and provide superior situational awareness and understanding to protect the U.S. and its global allies.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Analyst or Principal Manufacturing Analyst based out of Elkridge, MD.What You'll Get to Do:Planning, organizing, and controlling the timely flow of products through the Manufacturing Cell to support both internal and external customer delivery requirementsServing as the primary interface between Production Management, Manufacturing first line supervision, Manufacturing Cell Management, Operations Program Management, Production Material Control Specialists, Kitting and Inventory Management, Final Assembly Cells Production Control personnel as well as interfacing with Engineering and QualityProviding status of hardware of assigned Programs from the time of initial kit conversion, through manufacturing process, to delivery of hardware to internal and or external customersSAP metric maintenance, i.e. Aging Orders, and Overdue hours, 'Confirmed not Delivered' orders, floor stock inventory control, and the resolution of material shortages as they’re late to open production ordersThe successful candidate will have strong organizational, analytical, presentation, problem resolution, and process improvement skills; and be comfortable communicating with internal and external customers, as well as working in cross functional teams.Basic Qualifications: Manufacturing AnalystBachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination; Master’s degree with experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination; 6 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination may be considered in lieu of degree requirementExperience with SAP/ERP or other related systemAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is requiredU.S. Citizenship is requiredBasic Qualifications: Principal Manufacturing AnalystBachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination; Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination; 9 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination may be considered in lieu of degree requirementExperience with SAP/ERP or other related systemAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is requiredU.S. Citizenship is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Active/Current U.S. Government Secret Security ClearanceDegree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, or other closely related areasNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
