Work Environment
This full-time remote position offers the flexibility to work from your home while connecting with clients through various telehealth platforms. Our integrated virtual environment utilizes contemporary technologies to facilitate therapy sessions, ensuring efficient communication and support for both counselors and clients. Though you will work from home, you will remain part of a larger team, engaging in regular meetings that foster professional development and collaborative case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, identifying each client's unique needs and creating individualized treatment plans that outline goals and therapeutic strategies.
- Facilitate engaging one-on-one therapy sessions and group counseling sessions focusing on a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships.
- Regularly collaborate with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients, reviewing treatment progress and making necessary adjustments.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to expand your knowledge of the latest evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques in mental health care.
- Contribute insights and innovative ideas to enhance service delivery and improve overall program effectiveness, advocating for the highest standards of patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will be working with a diverse clientele within the community, including individuals facing various emotional challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related accredited field.
- Possession of an active professional license in your respective state, designated as an LPC, LICSW, or LMFT.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience working directly with individuals experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to build rapport with clients and foster a safe therapeutic environment.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to manage client documentation, treatment planning, and progress notes is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience administering therapeutic interventions remotely, adapting strategies to fit a digital platform effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
