Project Engineer

Responsibilities:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for working alongside Sales and Production staff for the design of hydraulic power units for customers. This candidate ideally will have a Mechanical Engineering Degree with Industrial Sales experience. This candidate should be mechanically inclined and understand mechanical, fluid power and electrical systems.

Salary: Starting at $100,000-$115,000
Hours: Business hours - Monday-Friday, standard 40-hour work week with occasional OT.
Direct Hire - Permanent Position/Salary-Exempt
Job Description:

• Work closely with the Sales Team to support quotations and sales efforts on new opportunities
• Work closely with our Manufacturing Team during fabrication and testing of systems
• Offer ideas to improve engineering standards and improve overall quality

• A desire to help Teammates succeed, always helping where needed
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 1-3 years in Hydraulic Design
• Excellent Organization skills (oral and written)
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems/ schematics
• Ability to design simple to complex hydraulic power units
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Ability to interface closely with both internal/external customer
• Excels at attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working under pressure
• Proficient in 3D modeling software, preferably AutoCAD Inventor
• Experience in the use of MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint and be proficient in Excel
• Programmable controllers experience a definite plus
