Shift: 2nd Shift (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM) | Full-Time

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Maintain & Repair: Troubleshoot advanced automation machinery, conveyor systems, and electromechanical components (servos, sensors).

• Diagnostic Support: Connect a maintenance PC to PLCs to step through programs and resolve complex control failures.

• Fluid Power & Electrical: Fix mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Process Optimization: Partner with engineering to test automated systems and implement machine upgrades.

• Asset Tracking: Log work orders and spare parts in the Go Canvas maintenance system.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

• Experience: 2+ years of work experience as an Automation Technician.

• Education: 2-year technical degree or equivalent certification related to automation technology.

• Technical Mastery: Excellent understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints.

• Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on elevated platforms (booms/lifts), and possess corrected 20/20 vision with color differentiation.

• Tools: Ownership of a complete personal toolset.

Responsibilities

As an Automation Technician, you will be the backbone of the distribution center's technology, preserving the functionality of advanced conveyor and automation systems.

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control components, including PLCs, servos, and sensors.

• Innovate: Work directly with the engineering team to build out and optimize processes to improve equipment performance.

• Maintain: Handle preventative maintenance tasks and machine upgrades using Go Canvas to track work orders and spare parts.

• Safety First: Serve as a quick responder to emergencies while strictly upholding rigorous health and safety protocols

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
