Senior Tax Associate / Tax Supervisor / Tax Manager

Location: South San Francisco Area – Flexible Hybrid/Remote

Compensation: $100,000–$165,000+ Base + Bonus

We are partnering with a highly regarded CPA firm that offers a collaborative culture, strong client relationships, and a focus on high-quality tax and advisory services. The firm is looking to add an experienced Senior Tax Associate, Tax Supervisor, or Tax Manager to its growing team.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or on a loose hybrid schedule, along with competitive compensation, meaningful client exposure, and strong long-term career growth toward Director or Partner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
• Identify tax-saving and planning opportunities
• Manage client relationships and ongoing engagements
• Review and mentor junior tax staff
• Stay current on tax law and regulatory changes
• Assist with year-end and strategic tax planning

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong tax preparation, review, and planning experience
• Experience mentoring or supervising staff
• CPA or EA preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and client service skills
