Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Emergency Department

Overview: Position: Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN Location: Lewiston, Maine Department: Emergency Department Shifts Available: Days & Nights Pay: up to $1,680 - $2,100 gross pay per week; equivalent to $40.00-$50.00 per hour. Responsibilities:

• Deliver bedside care in a high-volume emergency setting
• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, and acuity changes
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws
• Support trauma, triage, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and care teams
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and ED protocols
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems
• Communicate changes in condition quickly and accurately

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year ED experience required.
