Logistics Support Coordinator (Temporary)

Work Style: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote)


Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break / Core Hours: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM


Employment Type: Dispatch / Temporary (Approximately 3 months)


Depending on business needs, performance, and overall fit, there may be an opportunity for contract extension or conversion to a direct-hire Logistics Coordinator position.


Pay Rate:

• Entry-Level / Administrative Experience: $20 - $25 per hour
• Logistics Experience: $25 - $30 per hour

Position Summary


A Japanese automotive-related company is seeking a Logistics Support Coordinator to assist the logistics team with administrative and documentation-related tasks.


The primary responsibilities include preparing logistics documents, data entry, and supporting daily logistics operations. Prior logistics experience is not required. Candidates with basic computer skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures are encouraged to apply.


This position is ideal for individuals interested in gaining experience in logistics, supply chain, or international trade operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare Commercial Invoices for shipments from the United States to Mexico
• Enter product information, quantities, pricing, and shipment details into company systems and documents
• Create Purchase Orders (POs) for affiliated companies and production facilities
• Prepare and maintain shipping and logistics-related documentation
• Distribute completed documents to customers, suppliers, and affiliated companies via email
• Verify the accuracy of data and documentation before processing
• Provide administrative support for daily logistics operations
• Perform assigned tasks under the direction of the Logistics Coordinator and Logistics Manager

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Comfortable with data entry and administrative tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or shipping operations
• Import/export or trade administration experience
• Experience creating invoices, purchase orders, or shipping documents
• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience
• Administrative, office support, or customer service experience
