Restaurant Host

Cypress & Oak, the restaurant at The Delegate Hotel is hiring for a Restaurant Host!

Front-of-house staff is friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and works in a professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. As a member of the front-of-house team, you'll create memorable experiences for our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests as they arrive; check guests into reservation system.
• Demonstrate genuine hospitality during every interaction with our guests.
• Assign guests to tables using the reservation system.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed during high volume times.
• Attend pre-shift meeting to review/communicate information regarding service, VIPs, and Specials.
• Engaging with guests while they are waiting for their table to create a welcoming environment.
• Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
• Answer guest questions about restaurant history, current wait times, etc.
• Maintain a positive guest experience with effective communication of all guest recovery situations while documenting such occurrences to the MOD.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or instructed by management.
• Assist and support team members, as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as directed by the Bar Manager, FOH Managers, General Manager, or Corporate Office.
• Consistent productivity
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrates knowledge and ability to execute restaurant standards.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• 1 Year of customer service experience.
