Job Details Location: Houston, TX 77082 Employment Type: Travel, W2 Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab / Cardiac Catheterization Lab Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours Per Week: 40 Shift Duration: 10-hour days Shifts Per Week: Approximately 2 to 3 shifts per week based on the four-week rotation Schedule: One full weekend plus 2 weekdays for a total of 10 shifts per four-week schedule Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230 Job Requirements Active RN license required Minimum of 1 year of registered nurse experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience in a procedural, cardiovascular, acute care, or interventional nursing setting strongly preferred Electrophysiology experience preferred Strong team player with a flexible, adaptable attitude Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the cardiac cath lab during diagnostic and interventional procedures Assist with left and right heart catheterizations, pacemaker and ICD procedures, Watchman cases, IR procedures, vascular procedures, and EP ablations Support safe patient flow throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases Follow universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderate sedation guidelines Collaborate with RNs, cath lab techs, and other members of the procedural team Document care accurately using clinical documentation systems Float to the Pre/Post Cath Department as needed Apply now to take the next step in your travel nursing career and join a leading Houston healthcare team today.
