Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Florida

Start Date: July 7, 2026

Location: Vero Beach, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours per week for 8/10 shifts; guaranteed hours provided; float coverage required across multiple locations within a 20-mile radius

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years PCU experience with ICU background preferred; 18 months required
• Active RN license (pending license accepted); no license infractions permitted
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred; familiarity with cardiac drips required
• Skills must include telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, and non-invasive airway management
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nicotine-free status mandatory; 10-panel drug screen plus cotinine test required
• Two references from direct supervisors or nurse managers required
• Must pass EKG and pharmacology tests during orientation with maximum two attempts
