Short Description:Experience in upgrading Oracle Database from 19c to 26ai, along with strong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments including shell scripting. Hands-on experience with PDB cloning, RMAN backup and recovery procedures, and WebLogic administration covering patching and maintenance. Skilled in using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM 24ai) and performing PSU patching using Fleet Management Tool. Familiar with DBaaS implementations on OCI, and proficient in GitLab and Ansible scripting. Additionally, experienced in Oracle Data Guard configuration and support.
Day to Day Responsibilities:Design and manage Oracle OCI environments, including database, middleware, and infrastructure components. Develop and maintain Oracle APEX applications and ORDS services. Configure and administer Oracle WebLogic Server and related technologies. Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and conversions. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and replication strategies using RMAN and other tools. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection. Monitor and optimize database performance, implementing tuning recommendations. Implement and automate routine tasks using shell scripting and tools like Ansible. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless application deployment. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, providing timely support. Document and train on best practices for Oracle OCI environment management.
