Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Expected 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week period | Holidays as needed | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Perform and interpret EKG monitoring; all RNs are required to pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Float to alternate campus locations within the health system as needed
• Participate in non-billable orientation modules (average 2–4 hours; unit-based and hours may vary)
• Adhere to all compliance requirements including background check standards, license verification, and education verification policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible
• Valid, current driver's license required
• No open background check cases permitted
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI certification preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Level 2 Trauma center experience preferred
