Lead Carpenter – Residential & Commercial Renovations
Aaron Skora Construction Inc. | Palm Beach County, FL | Full-time
Aaron Skora Construction is looking for an experienced lead carpenter to help complete high-quality residential and commercial renovations throughout Palm Beach County. Our work includes kitchens, bathrooms, condo renovations, cabinetry, flooring, and office build-outs.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in finish work and can also help keep a job moving: plan the day’s work, coordinate with subcontractors, communicate issues early, and guide other carpenters as the team grows. This position has room to develop into a larger field leadership role.
What you’ll do
- Perform and lead carpentry, installation, and finish work on renovation projects.
- Review plans and scopes of work, identify needed materials, and prepare for upcoming tasks.
- Coordinate daily site activities with the owner, subcontractors, and other crew members.
- Protect clients’ properties and maintain clean, organized jobsites.
- Check completed work for quality and help resolve problems before they become delays.
- Document progress with photos and provide clear updates on schedule, materials, and jobsite issues.
- Help train newer team members in workmanship and jobsite standards.
What we’re looking for
- Strong hands-on experience in residential or commercial remodeling.
- Skill in framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.
- Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements, and work through site conditions.
- Experience leading a small crew or coordinating work with other trades.
- Good judgment, reliable attendance, and professional communication with clients.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to jobsites throughout Palm Beach County.
Experience with condo renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, or occupied commercial spaces is a plus.
To apply: Send a brief summary of your experience, photos of work you personally completed or supervised, and the best way to contact you. Please include examples of projects where you were responsible for planning or leading the work.
