Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
• May float between assigned facility locations within the local area

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility required
• Experience working in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Ability to work a day shift schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a float or multi-site staffing arrangement
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Familiarity with Medicare and skilled nursing facility billing requirements
