Auto Pros Service Center in Goddard, KS is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician who is self-motivating, reliable and enjoy working in a team environment. Our business hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5:30pm. Auto Pros is an independent family owned repair and service facility serving the Goddard and surrounding communities since 2005.

Position: Full-Time

Compensation: Based on experience. Flag Hours with competitive bonus structure.

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a full-service automotive repair facility.

Job Summary : Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

· Perform inspections, maintenance and repair on customers vehicles. Make recommendations as needed.

· Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service.

· Diagnose and repair automotive system drive-train, brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems.

· Engine/Transmission Removal and Installation.

· Assist other technicians in performing technical activities.

· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Communicate with service advisor when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the scheduled time period.

· Inspect and test-drive new vehicles to ensure that all features function properly

· Other duties as assigned.

· Ability to lift a minimum 50lbs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

To be qualified for the Technician position, you must have at least 3+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem solving, and repair experience. You are also required to provide strong leadership skills and a customer-focused attitude to go along with a high level of motivation and energy.

Other requirements include:

• Must have own professional grade tools

• Current driver's license with clean driving record.

• Must be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work every day.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.

• Multi-tasking ability

• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment such as Scanners, electrical diagnostic equipment, AC recovery equipment, Fluid Exchange Equipment, Lift operation, etc.

• Must be able to pass a drug screening
