Brain Tissue & Gene Tools Specialist

UCSF Nowakowski Lab in the Department of Neurological Surgery seeks a Junior Specialist to work with fresh human brain tissue, applying genetic tools (AAV and CRISPR) in ex vivo cortical slices. You will coordinate tissue procurement with neurosurgeons and pathology teams, troubleshoot culture conditions, and contribute to manuscripts and grants. This is a unique translational opportunity.
