Inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting power systems, including switchgear, transformers, and circuit breakers. Collecting data from electrical equipment. Ensuring equipment and systems are safe and reliable according to NETA standards. Conducting start-up procedures for new electrical equipment. Required skills and qualifications NETA level 2 or 3 certification A strong understanding of electrical theory, testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, insulation resistance testers), and electrical safety procedures Familiarity with NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA standards is often required.
