Pay Range $16.90-$17.80 per hour. Description Custodian under direct supervision of the Campus President maintains facilities to ensure safe, clean, presentable environment for public and employees. Responsibilities Clean and stock restrooms Vacuum and clean carpets Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, labs, offices, reception area, and student/employee lounges Perform other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment. English proficiency sufficient to understand instructions. Language Skills Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Present information in one-on-one situations. Mathematical Skills Add, subtract, multiply, divide. Compute rate, ratio, percent. Reasoning Ability Apply common sense to follow detailed written or oral instructions. Handle problems involving few concrete variables. Physical Demands Stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Lift and move up to 10 lb regularly; 25 lb frequently; 50 lb occasionally. Work Environment Wet/humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather. Exposure to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; extreme cold/heat; electrical shock and vibration. Noise moderate.
