Senior Systems EngineerThe Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Level 5) to join the System Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Team in Saint Charles, MO.Boeing Phantom Works is building the next generation of force-multiplying aircraft, and we're looking for enthusiastic systems engineers to join us on that journey. If you want to solve hard problems, accelerate innovation in autonomy and teaming, and contribute to a program that matters, then Boeing Phantom Works is the place to make a measurable impact.Position ResponsibilitiesApplies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.Implements analysis and modeling in MSoSA/Cameo or similar.Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Provides coaching and training in MSoSA (or similar) to early career Systems Engineers.Leads analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.Leads analyses that may include affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.Leads, develops, maintains and identifies improvements the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
