Major Accountabilities Materials resource planning: stocking the right amount of raw materials to meet demand and maintaining optimal inventory levels in line with the business plan. Finished goods order planning: scheduling production to meet customer due dates and expectations. Finished goods stock planning: maintaining appropriate finished goods inventory to support consistent sales. Creation of manufacturing orders and issuance of appropriate lab and safety documentation. ERP batch transactions. Inventory analysis: resolving variances and performing root‑cause analysis on recurring issues. Ensuring proper corrections are implemented following acceptance of root‑cause analysis. Proactive cross‑functional collaboration. Receiving after‑hours phone calls to assist with customer emergencies. Recommending and implementing process improvements. Source, negotiate, and select vendors that meet the company’s quality, price, and delivery requirements for assigned products. Developing and maintaining effective relationships with vendors and suppliers. Obtaining and storing COA, BOL, TDS, SDS, and other documents unique to orders and products. Ensuring timely delivery of items and following up with vendors on late orders. Required Qualifications Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills. Prior ERP experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. High School Diploma (or GED). Preferred Qualifications Basic Lean Six Sigma training. 5+ years of experience in purchasing, buying, and/or planning. APICS CPIM certification or training. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
