Position Overview Seeking a dynamic and experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to lead our Crisis Behavioral Health nursing department. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing clinical and support staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, comprehensive care to acute, complex patients. The Manager will serve as a clinical expert, provide leadership to the specialty area, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities & Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred. Certification: PMHNP certification is required. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No weekends. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution. Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a leadership or administrative capacity. Current and valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse (RN) License. Current and valid NJ Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) License. Board certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Active DEA and NJ CDS registrations for prescriptive authority. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) HCP Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification. A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience working in a Nurse Practitioner role preferred. Compensation & Benefits HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $146,057.60. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub‑specialty. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
