Field Service Technician

SEEK Professionals LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic machinery industry team. This role involves providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services to a diverse range of industrial machinery equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in various field environments. As a Field Service Technician, you will be the frontline representative of SEEK Professionals LLC, ensuring our clients' machinery operates efficiently and minimizing downtime. This position requires traveling to client locations to perform diagnostics, corrective maintenance, and preventive measures. It offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery technologies and collaborate directly with customers to troubleshoot issues effectively. Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery according to company standards.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to implement effective solutions promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
- Provide technical support and training to clients regarding machinery operation and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate service reports, documentation, and inventory records for parts used.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve service processes and machinery performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role within the machinery industry.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in field environments.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and safety equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in machinery or mechanical engineering preferred.
