We ensure those we serve always stay ahead of ready.As a Manufacturing Engineer in Skunk Works, you will play a critical role as liaison between our design engineering teams and the elite women and men responsible for building tomorrow’s future in an advanced manufacturing and technology facility. Key duties for this position include:• Leverage model-based engineering tools (PLM/MES) to facilitate creation of Production Planning/Work Instructions for build• Interface with shop floor personnel to help resolve build issues, including troubleshooting PLM/MES/ERP data flows, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency• Provide guidance to team of hourly/represented planners and oversee creation and release of build documentation• Provide guidance and oversee all planning modifications related to engineering revisions and MRB activities.• Support Manufacturing Engineering planning system upgrades, modifications and new system integration• Work in parallel with design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain organizations, and production operationsThis role may require infrequent travel, extended hours, and possible weekend/off-hour support.
