SUMMARY: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Dump Truck Driver to support asphalt, concrete, and excavation operations. This position involves hauling materials to and from job sites while assisting crews when needed.

· Safely operate dump trucks and trailers to transport materials and equipment

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

· Deliver asphalt, stone, dirt, gravel, and other materials to job sites

· Maintain accurate delivery and load documentation

· Assist field crews during downtime or between deliveries

· Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies

· Keep trucks clean and properly maintained

· Communicate effectively with dispatch and jobsite supervisors

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:

· Valid driver’s license - Required

· Valid CDL Class A – Required

· Clean Driving Record

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience operating dump trucks and hauling equipment - Preferred

· Ability to safely maneuver trucks on construction sites

· Ability to perform physical labor - as needed

· Knowledge of DOT safety requirements and vehicle inspections

· Strong attendance and reliability – Required

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with asphalt or excavation companies

· Equipment hauling experience

· Ability to operate skid steer or other construction equipment - Is a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to sit; stand; walk; crouch; kneel; stoop; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires climbing ladders occasionally; pushing; pulling and grasping frequently. This position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and may involve extended hours during peak construction season. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
