The Opportunity Snyder Law, PC is seeking a California-licensed Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its growing Trust Litigation department. This is a strong opportunity for a motivated litigator who wants meaningful case responsibility, direct client interaction, and hands‑on experience in trust and estate disputes. You will take an active role in moving matters forward, contributing to case strategy, drafting and arguing key filings, participating in discovery, and preparing cases for mediation, hearings, and trial. The ideal candidate will bring a solid litigation foundation, strong writing and analytical skills, and the judgment to handle emotionally sensitive and high-conflict matters with professionalism. Experience in estate planning, probate, or trust litigation is welcomed, but not required. We are open to candidates with a variety of litigation backgrounds who are eager to grow with the firm. This role is for an attorney who wants to take ownership of their work, continue developing as a litigator, and grow within a boutique firm that is building with intention. What You Will Do Manage trust and estate litigation matters with appropriate oversight Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and case‑related correspondence Conduct legal research and contribute to litigation strategy Handle written discovery, meet‑and‑confer efforts, deposition preparation, and related discovery tasks Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, court proceedings, and trial preparation Communicate proactively and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and team members Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure matters move forward efficiently Support clients who are navigating complex, emotional, and high‑stakes trust and estate disputes What We Are Looking For Active California Bar license in good standing 3+ years of litigation experience with increasing responsibility Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and litigation‑related documents Strong legal writing, research, analysis, and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and case priorities effectively Professional judgment, sound client communication skills, and a calm approach to sensitive disputes Familiarity with the California Code of Civil Procedure and Evidence Code Probate Code experience is preferred, but not required Experience with mediation, deposition preparation, trial preparation, or courtroom proceedings is a plus Why This Role Stands Out Focused trust and estate litigation work within a boutique practice Meaningful client impact in disputes involving families, fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and estate matters Hands‑on case responsibility with mentorship from experienced attorneys Opportunity to strengthen litigation skills while developing depth in a specialized practice area Collaborative team environment with direct access to attorneys and leadership Career development and advancement opportunities as the firm continues to grow Competitive salary based on relevant litigation, trust and estate, probate, elder law, or estate planning experience 3 to 5 years of relevant litigation experience: $150,000 - $200,000 Compensation will be flexible for a candidate with significant trust and estate litigation experience, strong courtroom experience, or a directly transferable litigation background Medical and vision insurance Life insurance Short‑term and long‑term disability insurance 401(k) with firm contribution Paid time off and paid holidays CLE and professional development support Mentorship and career development opportunities Opportunities for advancement Work Environment This is a full‑time, primarily in‑office position based in Irvine, California.
