About the role

This is a day-based, direct-hire, salaried position within automotive manufacturing. You will be the point person ensuring that product and process quality meet standards from launch through shipment.

What you'll do

• Lead investigations of quality issues and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Oversee and maintain control plans, in-process inspections, and formal quality procedures.
• Mine quality data and SPC outputs to pinpoint trends and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare for and support customer, supplier, and internal audits.
• Review and approve quality documentation, product releases, deviations, and rework plans.
• Exercise authority to stop production when quality or safety is at risk.

Your toolkit

• ISO 9001 manufacturing Quality Engineering experience.
• Proficiency with 8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP, and PPAP methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication across teams.
