Job Description Our client, a mission‑driven non‑profit behavioral health organization, is seeking a Permanent Outpatient Therapist to provide high‑quality mental health services to a diverse client population. The role focuses on delivering individual, family, and group therapy in an outpatient setting, with an emphasis on culturally responsive care. This full‑time, permanent position involves supporting patients struggling with addiction and working within an interdisciplinary team. Salary: $31–$38 per hour. Responsibilities Provide high‑quality outpatient therapy to patients struggling with addiction, using evidence‑based practices and therapeutic interventions. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, providing support and guidance to patients throughout their recovery journey. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure the effective coordination of patient care. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments to ensure patients are making progress towards their recovery goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and any changes in patient status. Provide education and resources to patients and their families about addiction, recovery, and coping strategies. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest practices and developments in the field of addiction therapy. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health discipline; a Master’s degree is required. At least two years of experience working with clients with addictions; experience in an outpatient setting highly preferred. Excellent knowledge of therapeutic interventions and evidence‑based practices for treating addiction. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and their families. Strong documentation skills, with the ability to accurately and timely record patient progress and treatment interventions. A deep commitment to helping individuals recover from addiction and improve their lives. The ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Current and valid licensure to practice as a therapist in the state. The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to handle the challenges and unpredictability of working with patients with addictions.
