While the primary focus is counter sales responsibilities. We offer:* A supportive work culture* Opportunities to learn about our business and advance your career* Competitive pay and benefits* The satisfaction of helping our customers get the right products to keep their projects movingCome join a company where your contributions make a difference every day!**Hours: Available to work between the hours of 7:00 – 5:00 pm / Monday - Friday****Responsibilities:*** Prior experience in counter sales and customer service* Experience in wholesale distribution or a related industry* Working knowledge of the electrical or plumbing markets**Counter Sales Role:*** Serve as the first point of contact for customers at the sales counter, providing knowledgeable assistance with plumbing, electrical and related products.* Process orders accurately and efficiently in the system.* Ensure counter and sales areas remain neat, clean, organized, and stocked; all products are stocked in designated locations* Ensure order picking accuracy measures 100% by double-checking all orders.* Ensure items are promptly and accurately selected within established company processes and procedures* Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s offerings and stay updated on industry trends to effectively address customer inquiries.Perform all assigned duties safely and efficiently adhering to all company policies and procedures.Perform other duties as required or requested by management.## Qualifications**Qualifications:**Two (2) years of experience in a customer service/sales environment.**Preferred Qualifications:**Knowledge of residential, construction and commercial electrical, plumbing and lighting products is a plus.Experience with inventory management systems or related software.Skills and Qualifications:Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; excellent interpersonal skills; representing his/herself professionally and courteously; ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.This position description is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of accountabilities, duties, responsibilities, or requirements.
