Nursery Teacher

About This Role We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and attentive Infant Nursery Caregiver to join our childcare team. This position is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants while supporting their daily care and developmental needs. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and passionate about working with young children. What You'll Do Provide attentive care for infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervising daily activities Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy nursery environment Follow established schedules for feeding, naps, and playtime Interact with infants through age-appropriate activities that encourage healthy development Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers regarding each child's daily care Follow all daycare policies, health regulations, and safety procedures Maintain accurate records as required Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure high-quality childcare Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or GED required (additional education in Early Childhood Education is preferred) Must successfully pass a criminal background check Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen Ability to lift and carry infants and childcare equipment as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable attendance and dependable transportation Nice to Have Previous experience caring for infants in a licensed childcare setting CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Knowledge of safe sleep practices and infant care best practices Benefits Professional Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
