Environmental Counsel or Income Partner

Overview The role involves representing a diverse range of clients in complex regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters within the energy industry. Required transactional experience includes advising on the development, acquisition, sale, and financing of regulated energy assets. Requires significant experience practicing before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), covering regulatory compliance, enforcement, rate, market, transmission, and related proceedings. Requires experience handling matters before state public utility commissions and other state energy regulatory agencies. The role involves strategic regulatory counseling and supporting energy-related mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Candidates will collaborate with colleagues across the firm's energy, corporate, and litigation practices, with potential to support litigation in other regulated industries as firm needs require.
