Electrical Engineer

Our client, an industry-leading architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Not Remote

Pay Range: $80,000 - $115,000

What's the Job?

• Design and implement complex electrical systems for diverse projects across multiple markets.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including architecture, engineering, project managers, and contractors.
• Lead project teams by delivering comprehensive engineering design packages to clients such as federal, state, and local agencies, commercial entities, and educational institutions.
• Provide engineering oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering professional growth and development.
• Support construction and commissioning activities, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

What's Needed?

• 6-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, architectural/electrical engineering, or electrical engineering technology from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina or ability to obtain through reciprocity within three months of start date.
• Experience in building system design including power distribution, lighting and control systems, grounding, lightning protection, and emergency power systems.
• Familiarity with system modeling software such as ETAP, SKM, or AGI, and knowledge of sustainable design practices.
