Bakery Assistant Manager

Location: Lunds & Byerlys Apple Valley, 15550 English Ave, Apple Valley, Minnesota, United States of America Job Description Full‑time Bakery Assistant Manager position at Lunds & Byerlys. Working schedule on a 7 days/week basis, shifts ranging 5:00 AM–9:00 PM. Hourly pay $20.50–$29.13, must meet mandatory compliance obligations. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in the bakery department. Coach, mentor, and supervise bakery staff. Analyze and report on financial performance to meet departmental goals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department. Ideal Candidate Team player – steps in as needed. Respectful – empathetic toward customers and teammates. Innovative – implements forward‑thinking retail solutions. Hospitable – provides a friendly environment. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Two (2) years of experience in a bakery setting. Knowledge of financial reporting systems and concepts. Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word). Strong understanding of grocery retail operations.
