Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other holiday and weekend required. No on-call duties are involved.This position is within a blended Medical-Surgical unit, incorporating a robust Swing Bed Program, as well as occasional care for patients requiring Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level services. Nurse assignments are balanced based on the workload and level of care required by patients. Patient-to-nurse ratios are structured as follows:1:5 for Medical-Surgical patients1:5-6 for Swing Bed patients1:3-4 for PCU patients, dependent on the presence of dripsIf the nurse has a solely Medical-Surgical background, assignments will be managed effectively by supervisory staff.
