Registered Nurse
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care and nursing support across various units as needed, promoting flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a variety of settings.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and assist with diagnostic procedures.
- Perform IV starts and manage telemetry systems.
- Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record system (EPIC).
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
- Possibly float to other affiliated locations as needed, with minimal travel requirements.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification.
- Experience with IV start and telemetry monitoring.
- Proficient in using EPIC electronic health record system.
- Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
Schedule
This position is a full-time role requiring 36 hours per week, with night shifts scheduled from 19:00 to 07:30. Block scheduling is not available.
