Join us in making a difference in our community while enjoying a fulfilling and rewarding career.Job Summary:The Community Resource Specialist I provides high quality customer service and serves as the main point of contact for the organization.Duties/Responsibilities:Schedules and confirms appointments; verifies insurance.Manages referrals, work queues, patient lists, emails, and referrals in Electronic Health Record.Interacts with patients via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on NOAH services.Explains community resources and connects patients with appropriate resources.Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve patient problems and concerns.Promotes and provides access to care.Attends, participates, and/or assists in meetings, trainings, community outreach activities, continuing education opportunities, and other activities as required.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:Excellent communication skills including active listening.Service-oriented and able to resolve patient grievances.Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.Knowledge of, or ability to learn, basic medical terminology and NOAH services.Ability to speak English and Spanish required.Education and Experience:Required:High School Diploma or GED.1+ years of experience in customer service; healthcare industry experience.Other Requirements:New Hires are required to pass pre-employment background check and drug testing (effective 11/1/2022).Current Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or must pass fingerprint clearance within 7 days following hire.Pay: $18.90 - $24.53 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:403(b)403(b) matchingDental insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health
