Propper International is looking for an IT Infrastructure & Automation Technician to join our team in Dickson, Tennessee!

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on IT professional who wants more than a traditional desk support role. You'll play an important part in maintaining the technology that keeps our distribution center operating efficiently, from servers and networks to warehouse management systems and automated technologies.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys troubleshooting, and is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a supportive team.

You don't need a bachelor's degree to succeed in this role. We're looking for proven technical skills, practical experience, and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

As our IT Infrastructure & Automation Technician, you'll help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our technology systems.

IT Infrastructure & Network Support

• Support and maintain Windows servers, network infrastructure, and enterprise IT systems.
• Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, user accounts, and system permissions.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, wireless access points, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose technical issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, patch management, system updates, and access security.

End-User & Distribution Center Technology

• Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, handheld scanners, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across the distribution center.
• Support warehouse technology and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Work with employees, IT team members, and outside vendors to resolve technical challenges.
• Assist with technology installations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvement projects.

Warehouse Automation & Robotics

• Assist with monitoring and supporting warehouse robotics and automated material-handling systems.
• Troubleshoot technology-related issues involving robotic systems, network connectivity, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with automation vendors and internal teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Support ongoing improvements to automated warehouse operations.
• Expand your knowledge of robotics, industrial controls, and emerging warehouse technologies.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, and end-user technology.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, wireless networks, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, servers, and network systems.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, patch management, and user access controls.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing needs, and follow technical issues through resolution.
• A customer-focused attitude and willingness to support employees at all technical skill levels.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications - A Plus, Not a Requirement!

• Experience supporting warehouse automation, robotics, or automated material-handling systems.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Understanding of APIs, system integrations, SQL, or log analysis.
• Experience working in a distribution center, manufacturing facility, or logistics environment.
• Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, industrial controls, or automation technologies.
• Relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Cisco.

Education: A bachelor's degree is not required. Relevant hands-on experience, technical training, and industry certifications are valued.
