Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required. Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various clinical settings including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
- Perform patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Manage case coordination and provide hospice care for patients with serious illnesses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure quality care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of two years experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care settings.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.
- Experience in specialized nursing areas such as ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room.
- Additional certifications relevant to specialty areas.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environments.
- Flexibility to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and adapt to patient needs.
- Day shifts, 8-hour duration.
- Start times vary between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM based on volume and machine schedule.
- Off days determined by patient volume and operational needs.
