Job Title Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Location Seneca, Kansas Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Kansas or eligibility for licensure
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with SNF documentation and Medicare compliance requirements
- Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a skilled nursing environment through a 13-week contract placement
