Psychology Intern- Mt Sinai Hospital- FT- Days

The Psychology Intern is a learning position in which the Intern conducts intake evaluations, individual, group and family therapy and counseling under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist. Responsibilities Conduct intake evaluations Provide individual, group and family therapy Provide parental counseling Supervise psychology externs Attend didactic classes and seminars for trainees Conduct psychologist testing Write psychological reports Provide case management services Prepare clinical notes and correspondence Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical charts Participate in team meetings Qualifications 2–3 years of part‑time predoctoral clinical experience in a hospital setting. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in the assigned area.
