Job Description
TITLE
Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

SCHEDULE
3 shifts of 12 hours per week

REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal
- Experience with telemetry care, dysrhythmia interpretation, ABG interpretation, tracheostomy care, HFNC/BiPAP/CPAP management, central/PICC/PIV care, IV starts, feeding tube care, wound care, blood product administration, pre/post cardiac and dialysis care preferred
- Familiarity with Epic charting system required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and evaluate changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Participate in rapid response and code teams as necessary

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Requested time off must be listed at the time of submittal
- All core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Orientation modules estimated at 4-6 hours onsite (non-billable)
