Oncology Nurse Educator - Washington, DC

AbbVie seeks an Oncology Nurse Educator to deliver clinical education to allied healthcare professionals on product management, dosing, administration, and adverse event mitigation. The field-based role covers Washington DC, Baltimore, and surrounding areas, supporting patient care teams across academic and community oncology settings.

Responsibilities

Deliver proactive and reactive education to allied healthcare professionals on approved oncology therapies and patient management
Develop customized educational plans based on account dynamics and clinical needs of care teams
Educate on product preparation, administration requirements, and adverse event monitoring and management
Provide 1:1 presentations, in-services, and podium presentations at internal and external meetings
Document customer interactions and clinical insights; collaborate across internal functional areas

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing, NP, PA, or PharmD; Master's degree preferred
Current active HCP license required
7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience with recent hematology background
Experience in academic and/or community oncology practice settings
Strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills with clinical data interpretation
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and related applications
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel 50% including overnight
